Fabric Collage Class Student Creations!
I had so much fun last month with my Fabric Collage the Laura Heine Way classes! These classes always fill up so quickly, probably because Laura Heine's creations are just so cute! I thought I'd share some of the critters my students were working on. By the way, I shared most of these photos on Facebook and Instagram during and right after class. If you like these, go ahead and like and follow me on Instagram and Facebook for even more quilty goodness! This round of classes, the birds were super popular! Here's Doodle-Doo the Rooster and Hen Rietta the Chicken.
Don't you love how they used the petals and leaves to create the look of feathers? And speaking of birds, here's Cora the Common Owl.
Some lovely sea creatures made an appearance. Seawell the Sea Turtle is one of Laura's newest patterns and I can tell he'll be very popular!
And there's also Ebba the Seahorse. That gorgeous blue fabric hanging next to Ebba will be her background. Isn't that just perfect?
There was also a Hip Hop the Rabbit, decked out in regal purple.
Once again there were several Perfect Form dress forms. Don't these look perfect for a sewing room? I especially loved the yellow daisy belt Lynn added to hers!
And nearest and dearest to my heart, Lulu the Elephant!
Speaking of Lulu, I finally finished my own Lulu! I'm so pleased with the way she turned out, although I think I may have been a little crazy adding scallops at the bottom. :)
