Break Into Free Motion Quilting with this Hands On Class
In July I held my first ever Skill Builders: Breaking into Free Motion on the Longarm class. My students and I had so much fun playing on the machines and learning simple free motion quilting designs. If you're feeling like you missed out on the fun, you're in luck! I'll be teaching this class again on Saturday September 23!
I designed this class with my wonderful longarm renters in mind. These folks have experience quilting with pantographs and design boards on the longarms here in the shop, but they've never taken the leap to the front of the machine. We'll spend a few hours practicing easy free motion quilting designs starting from a worksheet of designs to practice on paper. Then you and a partner will move to the machines and practice on provided fabric. This is a laid back class that will give you the confidence and inspiration you need to start free motion quilting!
The Skill Builders: Breaking into Free Motion class is on Saturday Sept. 23, 10:30-1:30. Spaces are filling up quickly, so you'll want to register for your spot soon. You can sign up here!
