Here’s a quilt that will really help you clear out that fabric stash!
Beverly brought me this fun scrappy quilt for a simple quilting treatment.
This looks to me like Bonnie Hunter’s Many Trips Around the World quilt. All those small pieces would be my first clue that this must be a Bonnie Hunter pattern!
Those fabrics were also going to really affect our decision for the type of quilting on Beverly’s quilt. There are a lot of different patterns in the fabrics and those fabrics are guaranteed to be the focus of this quilt.
With that in mind, Beverly and I agreed a simple meander would be best for this quilt. I quilted it with a neutral cream thread that would also blend into her backing fabric, an Ivory Leafy Scroll.
Beverly has already picked up her quilt and she was so pleased with it! Thanks Beverly!
