A great “beginner” feather uses leaf or fern shapes on a spine instead of a feather. Over at Judy’s blog, she has a wonderful tutorial on how to make a lovely double spined fern feather. Pop over and take a look! Then, try this the next time you’d like to fill something with feathers but are feeling a little…. chicken.
