On a recent trip through a local thrift store I saw these vintage quilt displays made out of old mirror frames.
I love them!
What an incredible idea. Don’t you love how it enhances both the mirror frame and the quilt top.
This would be especially effective on a quilt top that has holes or unusable areas. Love it!

That is a great idea! I have a quilt that was given to me by my great grandmother and little did I know way back then that it needed to be taken care of gently so I used it up but just can’t bring myself to get rid of it. Are these quilts behind glass? I could probably do something like this with a piece of my quilt and then feel guilty about getting rid of the rest but there probably isn’t an area on that quilt that doesn’t have some deterioration. I am going to seriously think about doing this. Thanks for sharing Angela.
