I just found out that my episode where I was a guest on Fons & Porter’s Love of Quilting will air on my PBS station on August 19 at 11:30am!  My episode is number 2206. It will air on KET2 in Louisville. Check your local listings to see what day/time it will air in your area! I’m so excited! I found the info on my PBS stations website.  HOORAY!

  1. Just watch you on Fons & Porter. You did a beautiful job and full of how to. I plan to share with my friends. I also plan to learn how to quilt. Thanks for adding to my confidence.

    1. Thank you so much for your kind words! I’m so glad you found the show helpful. I’ve been asked back as a return guest and that show will air in the spring. 🙂

  2. Just had the pleasure of watching this show from WOSU Columbus,Ohio. Great information for making quilting choices…am not ready to purchase a large machine yet, but your five considerations have given me talking points with my long arm quilter. Looking forward to spring show and I, too, will be sharing with my quilting friends.

    1. Thanks so much, Susan! I have a high school friend in Columbus who didn’t think she could get the show. I’ll let her know that you were able to see it up there! Thanks for stopping by!

  3. Angela, Just watched you on Fons and Porter this morning. You make it look so easy. i purchased a long-arm machine last summer and have been learning slowing over the past year. I mostly freehand as I can’t seem to follow a pattern. lol I did enjoy the ease you displayed as you moved your machine so effortlessly over the fabric. I want to become that adept. I grabbed my daughter’s iPad and started scribbling in her drawing pad to try to get a consistent pattern and flow. Just like using an etch-a-sketch!

You mentioned an annual gathering of quilters in the St. Louis area. Is that open to others or a just a select group? My sister lives near St. Louis and we both enjoy piecing. I enjoy machine quilting. If it is open, please email me details including costs. Thank you for sharing your wisdom and skill on F&P. I look forward to your next appearance.
