Sandy made an absolutely adorable quilt for some lucky little lady.
The paper dolls were all done using fusible web and machine applique. Sandy did a great job picking out the perfect fabrics to bring each block to life. I love the gingham she put in the little shirt under the overalls.
GooseyGirl said she wants to cut it all apart so she can use the dolls. (Don’t worry, Sandy, I talked her out of it.) 🙂
Here is my absolute favorite block. The fuzzy bunny slippers and the dangling kitten is a wonderful touch.
Take a look at all the other wonderful applique blocks.
The pattern is called “Sugar and Spice” it is by Amy Bradley. There is a boy version called “Snips and Snails.” (thanks Suzanne!) I can see where this pattern would be incredibly popular!
Yet again, Sandy whips out an impressive kiddo quilt!

It's an Amy Bradley pattern. The boy version is called "Snips & Snails." The girl version is called "Sugar & Spice"
They are both very cute. I have the pattern sets, and every so often I pull them out to dream about making them.
Thanks, Suzanne!
Do you know where I can purchase the sugar and spice patterns?
