Okay, I’ve been stringing you on long enough! Here is a wide shot of Sandy’s amazing 5 Little Monkey’s quilt. I was stunned the first time I saw it. How could you not be knocked out?
She did some stellar machine embroidery work on this quilt. I hope she enters it in a show somewhere – it is that good. I’m now working out how exactly I’m going to quilt her masterpiece. I want to make sure her embroidery work is the star, but I also want to enhance the fun and playfulness the monkeys bring to the top.
I’m so happy she brought this top to me! It has been just the right amount of playful joy I needed during this Christmas season. I don’t know who she made the quilt for, but I do know it will be an heirloom.

Five Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed can be found at OregonPatchWorks.com
Look for Sets = Monkey Shines or Monkey Shines Quilt Instructions.
Best to use Polyester thread if the quilt will be washed – Rayon does not hold up to chlorine.
Where can I buy this panel?
This was a class taught at the Smocking Shop in Louisville. If you contact them, I’m sure they can help you.
