Sewciety Kids is the perfect place for young makers to learn the art of sewing in a fun, encouraging, and creative environment! Designed for children ages [insert age range], this 6-week series introduces students to sewing fundamentals while helping them build confidence, problem-solving skills, and creativity.
Throughout the session, students will learn how to safely operate a sewing machine, understand basic sewing tools and terminology, read simple patterns, and develop essential sewing techniques. Each child will complete two exciting projects during the six weeks, giving them the opportunity to practice new skills and create items they can proudly use, wear, or share.
No prior sewing experience is necessary. Our instructors guide students step-by-step, ensuring that beginners feel comfortable while more experienced young sewists continue to grow their skills. Along the way, students will learn patience, attention to detail, and the satisfaction that comes from creating something with their own hands.
All supplies and project details will be provided prior to class. Students should come ready to learn, create, and have fun with fellow young makers!
