KangaRoo Collage Pattern is a quilting pattern by Laura Heine. These innovative collage pattern comes with a full sized outline pattern as well as directions to completing the collage. KangaRoo is a Kangaroo fabric collage pattern with a finished size of 23" x 31".

Fabric (Backgrounds - About 6" x 22" of yellow/gold floral for the ground, About 6" x 22" of pink floral, 11" x 11" of 3 different grey fabrics with a slight print to them, Additional 7" x 11" of grey with 1" flowers for softening background edges where pieces meet, Cuttables for KangaRoo and Background - About 12" square of focus floral. The size of this fabric is dependent on it's design. This floral should be colorful and include colors that you want to pull from for the rest of your quilt. Additional 12" square of another large-scale floral, 5" x 1" of two additional floral fabrics with medium scale, 6" x 22" of additional floral that coordinates with the focus fabric, Fabric for KangaRoo (including baby): The fabrics will be the underlay fabrics that show under the flowers. You will need different colors and values. these fabrics should coordinate with the primary focus floral fabric and also not compete with the background fabrics, As you pick the fabrics keep in mind that they need to be different colors or values than the backgrounds. These pieces should range from 6" squares to 11" x 11" in size. Choose about 16 different fabrics and get more of the fabrics you like. You will need greens, blues, teals, creams, magentas and reds, yellows, browns for baby and pinks. You will need roughly 30" in total yardage at minimum. The more you have to work with the easier your collage will blend together. , 1 yard of backing fabric, 1/4 binding fabric)
