Get ready to turn your favorite Halloween panel into a quilt that’s full of surprises! This two-day One Block Wonder class will take you through the process of transforming seven identical Creepin’ It Real panels into a unique kaleidoscope-inspired quilt with a spooky, one-of-a-kind look.

One panel will be kept whole as the centerpiece, while the remaining six panels are layered, cut, and transformed into One Block Wonder blocks. Watch as the original spooky artwork breaks apart and comes back together in unexpected patterns, creating mesmerizing shapes and eye-catching designs that you never knew were hiding in the fabric!

This class will be held over two nonconsecutive days, giving you time between sessions to work on your project and complete homework before returning for the next step. We’ll meet on Tuesday, September 29, from 11:00 AM–5:00 PM and Friday, October 2, from 11:00 AM–5:00 PM. Spreading the class over two days allows you to work at a comfortable pace while giving your fabric and blocks the time and attention they need.

During class, you’ll learn the fundamentals of the One Block Wonder technique, including how to carefully align and cut your panels, create your kaleidoscope blocks, and arrange the blocks around your whole panel for a coordinated and dramatic finish. We’ll guide you through the process step by step, from the initial panel preparation to watching your unique design emerge.
