While trying to decide my colors for the quilt, the images in the instructions were useless. The colors were faded and muted and because the ones the pattern refer to are the ones in the image, it was difficult. Also, it said to cut 16 squares out of the one called Hampton brown to be used in the sashing. I think it was actually another color and it's 12 squares, not 16. The actual assembly instructions are very thorough. My quilt is lovely.

I love this pattern. When I was trying to decide my colors, I kept referring to the pictures so I would know quantities and get a mental image of my color choices in the pattern. My problem was that the picture (especially when printed) was not clear enough to clearly see which pattern was for what piece. Don't get me wrong. The quilt as made is beautiful. Since the colors are so similar, I had to keep going back to the website image and blow it up and switch back and forth to the amounts. Maybe an enlarged inset of one block would help. I love the pattern and it's coming together nicely.
