Ready to feel more confident using rulers on a longarm quilting machine?

In this hands-on longarm quilting class, Angela will guide you through ruler work techniques using the beautiful Moonlight Serenade panel. You’ll practice with both straight-edge and curved rulers while learning how to create clean, polished quilting designs.

This class is taught in two parts. In the first part, we’ll focus on straight-edge rulers. In the second part, we’ll explore designs made with a curved ruler. The class is designed to be taken in any order so you have maximum flexibility!

You’ll learn safe ways to use rulers on a longarm machine, how to audition ruler work ideas before stitching, and how to build confidence with hands-on practice. This class is a great fit for quilters who are ready to try ruler work for the first time, as well as those who want to level up their ruler skills.

Required Supplies:

Ruler Magic: Longarm Quilting Class Kit (includes panel, batting, backing and a small cone of Glide thread) You will use this same kit for both of the classes in the series.

Your favorite straight edge machine quilting ruler- we like the Garden Lines straight edge ruler. But, you can bring any straight edge machine quilting ruler you like.

Your favorite curved machine quilting ruler- we like the Lavender Lines ruler but you can bring any curved machine quilting ruler you like. 

Seam Ripper- for your neighbor to borrow :)

Something to write with and write on (we recommend an 8.5 x 11" non lined sketch book so you can doodle/draw the designs we will be covering first.
