Do you see the arched line that is a part of the motif? That is a built in Stitch in the Ditch section so this pattern will stitch your ditch while you quilt the border/sashing! If you'd rather have a straight line for your ditch, check out this same motif with a straight line instead of an arched line. This pattern is a part of the Columbus set which was named one night when I was designing something to fill an Ohio Star block and I was missing one of my close friends who lives in Columbus, Ohio. Synergy, eh?
