The Sewline Fabric Pencil works just like a regular mechanical pencil. It comes with thin white ceramic chalk leads to mark thin white lines on darker fabrics.

Pull out the Blue & Purple Dual Purpose Marking Pen to mark your lighter fabrics! This dual tipped pen has a blue water erasable marker on one side and a purple air and water erasable marker on the other side.

Need to erase your marks? Just add water to the Sewline Aqua Eraser to precisely erase your water and air erasable marks.

All three tools in the Perfect Marking Trio will allow you to easily mark your quilts for any color fabric, and quickly remove the marks with the Aqua Eraser!

I really enjoyed the easy of the water-filled pen, though there were no instructions and I didn't at first realize it was basically a syringe. The blue marker gave me a scare because the marks kept coming back despite repeated wettings whilst I was completing the quilt binding, but luckily the color didn't come back after I machine-washed the quilt for the final finishing. I know the white pen works great from previous experience.
