You can re-position the Ideal Seam Guide hundreds of times! It is easy to clean the lint off so it can be re-stickified all over again!

The Ideal Seam Guide and Seam Gauge Package has different sized guides because it is incredibly helpful if you're piecing your quilt at different machines. If you have a featherweight machine for your classes and retreats, you will want the 4" Ideal Seam Guide. Then when you go home to work at your bigger machine in a cabinet or with an acrylic table you'll definitely want the 10" guide, especially if you're working with longer strips! If you're working with very long strips, be sure to look at the 15" Ideal Seam Guide too.

When the Ideal Seam Guide loses its grip, spray with Scrubbing Bubbles, 409, or any other multi-purpose cleaner you already have at home. Ball up the lint with the pads of your fingers, rinse, and air dry. It will get sticky all over again! Be sure not to use a scrubby or your nails as it will scratch the thin strip of rubber that is what is making the guide stick. Drop your needle into the appropriate seam allowance hole and drop your sewing machine foot so it is stabilized. Finally, stick the seam guide down so your seam allowance is marked and stays exactly where you want it.
