Alex Anderson's 4-in-1 Essential Sewing Tool is your all purpose sewing tool! Alex designed this tool herself to help you accomplish your most common sewing tasks with one handy gadget. There are two "outside" and two "inside" tools in Alex's essential sewing tool.

The first of the outside tools is the presser. This is the flat wooden edge of the tool. Alex loves to use the presser for foundation paper piecing. Normally, as you sew each piece you'd then go to your iron to press the seams flat. Instead of ironing, use the presser to flatten your seams.

The second outside tool is the pointy wooden turner. This tool is perfect for pillows, placemats, and any other projects with corners that need poked out. Use the pointy wooden turner to turn your corners right side out and achieve those lovely pointy-points! You'll no longer need to use your sharp seam ripper or a stiletto that might poke a hole through the corner!

Both the presser and the turner can be removed to reveal your two inside tools! Underneath the presser, you'll find a fantastic seam ripper. This seam ripper is nice and sharp, making it the perfect tool for fast unsewing.

Remove the presser to reveal a stiletto. Stilettos have a variety of helpful uses in sewing in quilting. Use it to help guide fabric through your sewing machine while sewing. Or use it to guide the fabric edges into place while pressing turned applique onto freezer paper.
