Glide Thread is a 40wt polyester thread from Fil-Tec. The thread is made with Advanced Trilobal Technology that allows it to maintain consistent tension throughout each and every spool. The results are high quality, consistent stitch formation, fewer thread breaks, and fewer machine stops. The thread runs virtually lint-free and has a wonderful eye catching sheen.

Glisten Light Gold

Glisten Thread is metallic wrapped rayon 40wt thread. This thread pack includes 1 670 meter mini cone.

My order was delivered super quick as always wrapped in pretty pink paper! The Glide thread colors were perfect for the Nativity and Glide never disappoints. So my rating for Glide is a 5! The Glisten metallic thread is a very pretty color but after one use I was ready to pull my hair out. Metallics are a study in patience. I used all my tricks such as a topstitch and a metallics needle, putting the thread in a cup on the floor and slowing my machine way down. I ended up purchasing another brand metallic that works well for me that matched. That worked great. My Nativity pillow is well on its way to completion. I will not buy Glisten thread again. I would prefer to choose my own specialty thread in the future. Thank you! Love Quilted Joy!
