Back in January I headed out to Denver to record more video content for Fons & Porter. We are offering an online Longarm Quilting Fundamentals class that contains all the information I wish I had when I got my first longarm machine out of the box and knew nothing. This class is over 13 hours long. It is always fun to be in a studio with a large crew, four cameras, and cue cards. It is also a little nerve wracking too.

After the shoot was over we did a little sight seeing. One of the fun things we found was Buffalo Bill's grave! Take a look at the fencing around the grave site. Isn't that iron work great? I find most of my vacation photos look like this. Everyone else is taking wide shots and I come back with closeup photos of door knobs and tile work. :) Can't you see this as a feather or a border design?

The fence around Buffalo Bill's grave has a really interesting look that would work great as a border or feather design.

Here is how I would interpret and use this photo as inspiration for a quilting design. What do you think?
