Marilou's Pink and White Signature Quilt
Isn’t this stunning? This is one of those quilts that starts off with a quilt top that doesn’t have a lot of zing in it. Then after it gets quilted it looks completely different!
The blocks are typically seen in Signature quilts where the center pink rectangle is used to house the autographs of friends and family.
I’ve forgotten now where Marilou got this top. But I sure do wish I’d found it first!
She chose a design by one of my favorite designers, Keryn Emmerson. Don’t you love how a secondary design reveals itself where the blocks come together?
The stitching in the ditch gives this top the bones it needs go be just as wonderful from the back as it is from the front.
She’s gonna LOVE it!
