Margarita Sunrise Jelly Roll Quilt & A Peek At Some Monkeys
I promised you a glimpse of Sandy's over-the-top kiddo quilt but first, I want to show you her dots and stripes quilt. I really admire her ability to pick colors and fabric. I always look at those stripe fabrics and think how cute they are; however, when I go to use them I can't always figure out what would be a good match for them. This pattern would be great use for those jelly rolls we've all got, wouldn't it?
In this quilt she combined dots and stripes and vibrant color incredibly well. I'm not sure what she is calling this quilt, but I'm calling it "Margarita Sunrise"! Okay, drum roll please: here's a peek at a small piece of Sandy's embroidered quilt top that I'll be working with next.
You are gonna flip when you see the whole thing. It is a true labor of love and an absolute head turner. It is amazing!
