Learn to machine quilt on your home sewing machine in my Machine Quilting Primer: Baby Quilt class

In this class, that I'll be teaching on Saturday October 27, we'll cover the basics of machine quilting on a domestic machine. We'll be quilting this super sweet pre-printed panel called Anna's Garden designed by Patrick Lose. This panel is the perfect safe space to learn machine quilting. It has many of the elements you'll find in a typical quilt - blocks, borders, sashing, and applique - but there's no piecing necessary. You can learn and play without the fear of making a mistake on a quilt you've dedicated lots of time to.   

Each student will receive a workbook of all the free motion quilting designs in this quilt. We'll learn to quilt the quilt one section at a time. Taking our time to learn each new design as we come to it. By the end of the day, you'll have learned more than 20 fun free motion quilting designs!
