Julie's Tshirt Quilt and My Ky Quilter's Day Out Booth
My kidlets helped me work my booth at the annual Ky Quilter's Day Out event over the weekend. They helped me sell my wholecloth quilted tote bags and gave out my info to many people who were interested in my quilting services. We had samples of my work, info on APQS longarm quilting machines and 3 different styles of tote bag kits. It was a great day and I had fun with kiddos. My guild had a big booth and we found lots of people who are interested in joining. Here's a quilt I finished up for Julie. She made this t-shirt quilt for her daughter and I put a simple meander on it for her.
I especially love this shirt. I don't know that I have an answer to the question but I love the idea that we each can inspire someone else. Most of time we never even know it has happened. She had some great shirts and I'm sure her daughter will enjoy this quilt for years to come!
