Jan's Modern Quilt
Jan made this quilt top for her daughter out of some really gorgeous modern fabrics. Don’t you love how the large pieces really allow the fabric design to be the star of this quilt?
She chose an all over, edge to edge pantograph called “Nicko” for this top. It adds texture to the top without taking away from the piecing which is exactly what this quilt needed.
Her daughter likes the shabby chic look made popular by Pottery Barn. For that reason, we selected 100% cotton batting so it would get a lovely crinkly look the first time she washes it.
