Is there a certain type of quilt that when you see it, you just can't help but smile? For me it's quilts with bold, bright colors! Those bright colors seem to spread hope and joy like a ray of sunshine. Here's a few bright quilts from my renters. Lone Star Quilt This is Mary's Lone Stars quilt. I really don't know how anyone could look at this without smiling. The colors are so fun and playful! She quilted this with the feathers design board for lots of texture across the quilt. Fantasia Fracture Beverly made this quilt from a fabric panel called the Fantasia Tree. Isn't it beautiful? She brought it in for her rental certification class and wanted simple quilting that wouldn't distract too much from fabrics. She decided to use the Baptist Fan design board. This is another great design for lots of lovely quilting texture across the quilt. Glass Half Full Quilt Finally we have two adorable charity quilts from Erin. Erin always has such fun fabrics in her quilts. This first quilt looks like the Glass Half Full pattern by Lindsey Sews. This quilt is super cute and would be perfect for someone headed off to college! Her second quilt was this big star quilt. Those bold prints and colors are so much fun! Big Star Quilt Because Erin was going to be donating these for auction, she wanted the quilting to be quick, easy, and fun! There's really nothing faster than free motion quilting. She quilted wavy lines down the length of the quilt for Glass Half Full and lots of loopies for the Big Star quilt. By the way, you can see even more of Erin on her own blog, House on Hill Road. I hope these colorful quilts helped to brighten your day a little!
