You may remember Jackie’s super-cute seahorse baby quilt for a boy from my blog post in January. A few weeks later, she brought in this equally cute baby quilt top for a girl and asked me to quilt it the same way.
Like the seahorse quilt, Jackie wanted this top quilted using the Wisteria edge-to-edge design. It shows well against her fabrics, most of which are tonal. The scale of the design also works well with her block size and doesn’t overwhelm her floral fabric.
I quilted this top with a grey thread to help it blend softly into the darker fabrics. Aren’t these fabrics sweet? Just perfect for a little girl!
