Features of an APQS Lucey Long Arm Quilting Machine
Intelligent Stitch Regulation
We use precise encoders tucked into our APQS Lucey wheels to give you the perfect stitch every time. Our stitch regulator isn’t a purely digital regulator, instead it relies on fuzzy logic to monitor not just your speed but also your direction. When you change directions you’ll get a point in your point… every time.
Bliss Track System
Included!
Replaces half the machine’s wheels with linear ball bearings. Fintertip touch control!
Motor rated at 3500 Stitches Per Minute
The APQS Lucey motor is calibrated to reach 3500 stitches per minute. While you likely won’t go that fast normally, having a high SPM ability gives your motor greater headroom to speed up and respond to you as you change directions. It is an indicator as to how responsive your stitch regulator will be.
Adjustment Free Take Up Bar
The elevated roller means you never have to raise it as the bulk of the quilt grows. And the leveler bar in front on your APQS Lucey keeps your quilt surface level.
Horizontal Channel Lock
Manual horizontal channel lock will lock out the wheels so the APQS Lucey quilting machine can only be moved in one direction. This feature is the number one way to keep your quilt top square to the table so you end up with a square quilt!
Adjustable Ergo Handles
Ergo handles (front and back, with finger touch button control): Change your grip depending on your quilting style while still being able to control the APQS Lucey long arm machine even when it is at the back of the table. The Lucey has a big throat, and these handles allow you to control the machine even when you are at the back of the table
Interchangeable Hopping Foot
Change out the APQS Lucey machine’s hopping foot to an open toe design! Your machine comes ready to accept different feet for the different kinds of quilting you do.
LED Lighting and Built In Blacklight
Bright, clear lighting increases accuracy. The built-in black light on the APQS Lucey lets you adjust the lighting with the flip of a switch
Your Choice Size Bobbin- L or M
You get a choice of the size bobbin you prefer so your APQS Lucey machine is specifically made to your tastes and style of quilting. The big M bobbin is $500 more; just tell me how you want it made at the factory!
Stand Alone Turbo Bobbin Winder
Consistently wound bobbins are the foundation to good tension on an APQS Lucey. We build these industrial grade bobbin winders from scratch.
APQS Beginner's Class & Start Up Kit
We want you to be as comfortable and as confident with your machine as possible! Your longarm education is just as important to us as the purchase of your machine. You’ll get a full, one day class to learn how to use your machine. Each machine also comes with a starter kit with needles, a pantograph, bobbins and some thread to get you started with your APQS Lucey long arm machine.
