I’m so excited. One of my personal quilting idols, Karen McTavish, is coming to teach May 15-17, 2014! Can you hear me squealing with excitement?
Karen is a master quilter whose techniques work equally well on longarm machines and sit down domestic machines too. She is the author of 5 amazing books and has won numerous awards. She’s been on TV and is one of the best longarm quilting teachers on the planet.
Karen will be teaching three days of classes and a lecture/trunk show too. There is something for everyone! Take a look at all of the class offerings over on the McTavish Event Page. If you want to register, do it fast because many of the classes are already filling up. Take a look at the class page, pick your course and give me a ring at (502) 718-7148
If you’ve never taken a class from a master quilter, let these be your first ones. Learn Victorian Feathers, McTavishing, Machine Trapunto, Heirloom Quilting and get inside Karen’s brain to see how she interprets quilt tops as she designs her motifs. You are going to get so much out these classes and I’m ecstatic that she is going to come teach at the APQS Showroom in Louisville, Ky!
