Karen Made a special quilt for her uncle

Lime Tree quilt pantograph pattern

Karen is a popular local quilting teacher and she has a wonderful eye for picking the right fabrics for the right patterns.

Merry Go Round Quilt

This quilt was made for her uncle and taught it in a class.

Lime Tree Pantograph

The pattern is called Merry Go Round. I don’t have a link to the pattern so if you know who designed it or know of a link, please post it in the comments below.

Embroidered name on quilt

Karen is also a wiz at machine embroidery. In fact, she sold me my Viking Diamond machine which I love. She embroidered her uncle’s name on the top so everyone will know who this quilt was made for!

Lime Tree Pantograph

I’m sure he’ll like it. The batting is Hobbs Heirloom 80/20. The edge to edge pattern is Lime Tree which matches the motifs in the fabrics nicely but isn’t girly. Pretty quilt, eh?
