Linda finished up this top for a friend who had made the blocks but wasn’t sure how to put the blocks together into rows. Linda added the sashings and borders. The fabric in the border is one of my favorites. It is bright, bold and cheery!
Linda decided to use a variegated thread that enjoyed all those bright colors in the fabrics. We used Lava Colorburst by Superior Threads and it looks great dancing across her top!
The pattern she chose is Cascade and since the backing is white, the pattern really pops from the back.
Linda is excited to give this quilt to her friend so she can enjoy Block of the Month and I’m positive her friend will appreciate it.

Oh, good! Take a look at all of Keryn Emmerson's patterns they are modern and don't have that "rowy" look like you quilted on a typewriter.
