Nonnie made this lovely Hankie quilt with lots of quilting room that is so much fun to play within!
The hankies are all floral motif, so I wanted to reflect that in the quilting. I chose a flower bud design for the setting triangles from Pam Clarke’s book Quilting Inside the Lines
Her technique for using registration lines in a block for freehand motifs is wonderful! I’d love to take a class from her someday but, for now, I’ve got her four DVD’s instead.
Nonnie was able to really elevate these simple hankies into a very pretty and ultra feminine quilt!
