Yvonne is a new quilter who I’ve been lucky enough to teach in a quilting classes recently. She made this quilt out of a Laural Burch Christmas collection called Bountiful Blessings. The center is a panel with wonderful Christmas cat motifs, a stocking, ornament and peaceful dove.
Yvonne put a couple borders around the panel along with some snowball blocks made of the accompanying fabrics from Laural Burch’s fabric collection. You can find the pattern for this quilt on the Clothworks site.
I quilted meandering holly leaves with berries in Superior Metallic thread with Hobbs Heirloom Premium batting.
Yvonne wants to make a collection of quilts to hang according to the season and I’d say this Christmas quilt will be a good start on her collection!
