This is my second Irish Chain in as many weeks!
I just love how quiltmakers express themselves so uniquely through the fabric choices they make. This is Sarah’s Irish Chain and it is beautiful.
I used a new edge to edge design on this quilt. It is called Cascade. I had picked it up at the International Quilt Festival in Houston last year. Can you believe it took me this long to dig it out and open it up!?!
What makes it sing on this quilt is the paisley-esque design motifs that are echoed in the focus fabric. These two design choices are just perfect together!
