The Schmetz Topstitch Needles have an extra long eye. They're best for use with topstitch, heavy, multiple, or poor quality threads. Each package comes with 5 needles.
These are Angela's favorite needle for quilting on a domestic sewing machine.
Quilted Joy has these needles in two different sizes:
- 80/12 - a fine topstitch needle. This size is ideal for fine threads, such as a 50 weight thread.
- 90/14 - a medium topstitch needle. This size is great for medium weight threads, like a 40 weight thread.
