Schmetz Microtex Sharp Needles have a fine sharp point for perfectly straight stitches. Use them with silk, microfiber, polyester and coated fabrics. These needles are great for piecing, topstitching and basic sewing. The Schmetz Needles are Angela's favorite needles for quilting on a domestic sewing machine!

Quilted Joy has these needles in two different sizes:

• 80/12 - a fine topstitch needle. This size is ideal for fine threads, such as a 50 weight thread.
• 90/14 - a medium topstitch needle. This size is great for medium weight threads, like a 40 weight thread.
