Monopoly Thread - Smoke works great with all APQS machines. You can use it in the bobbin but it is easier to just use a grey or neutral color in the bobbin instead. Great for Stitch in the Ditch work and to use when going around appliques. This is a great thread to use for quilts that will be washed and dried.

Made by Superior Threads, MonoPoly is a reduced-sheen polyester monofilament invisible thread. Unlike other monofilament threads made from weaker nylon materials, MonoPoly is made from polyester. Commonly referred to as an invisible thread due to its fineness and reduced-sheen, it is great for the bobbin or top.

This thread is available in 2 colors, Smoke for dark fabrics and Clear for light fabrics. It is often used for invisible appliqué and quilting when the stitching is not meant to be seen. We recommend it over nylon monofilament threads since it will not become brittle over time (nylon monofilament thread tends to go brittle). MonoPoly will not discolor (nylon monofilament thread tends to "yellow" over time), and it is dryer and iron safe on medium-to-high heat.

Great for invisible thread applications. Monopoly Thread - Smoke is .004" (.1mm) in diameter (90 denier). This makes it a very fine thread.
