I made these blocks to use when auditioning digital designs. These were made to layer a design on top of them to audition a digital motif to see if it will complement the seam lines. Open the Card Trick Block Outline Digital File in your computerized quilting system. Then, bring in the block motif you are considering and place it on top of the appropriate block design from this set. Right away you'll be able to see if the motif you are considering will look nice on the patchwork you are working with! Easy Peasy! I love how I can quickly judge if a design motif will fill out the space I have or if it will fight the piecing pattern. Then, you'd just stitch out the design that you like- not these outlines. You'll use these patterns primarily as reference lines within your software. This one is specifically made to audition ideas for Card Trick Block designs.

Of course, you could also use these in a wholecloth design or to provide blocks to practice freemotion quilting.
