Section One breaks down the basics of what you are going to need to get started, including a short discussion of thread and batting choices. Section Two takes us to an isolated look at each design grouped into categories like Swirls & Circles, and Lines & Vines. Section Three then takes those designs and shows us how to apply them to Modern Quilts. There are many beautiful color illustrations of quilts where she describes the quilting choices she made and why. There are however no cutting list or instructions to create any of them. This book is about quilting only, not piecing.
