Longarm Centering Tape
Longarm Centering Tape
4 in stock
The Longarm Centering Tape (aka the Zero Centering Measuring Tape) suspends securely over your entire work area, leaving your hands free for positioning and pinning your quilt materials. The tape itself is fiberglass reinforced to assure accurate measuring and dimensional stability for long-lasting use.
The 12 sliding markers act as a guide for consistent measurements from beginning to end. Hook and loop strips (2 sets included) can be used to hold the tape in position on frames up to 14 feet wide. For versatility, use binder clamps (2 included) to hold ends of tape in position on a variety of frame or table sizes.
Use this special Longarm Centering Tape to ensure your quilts are being advanced uniformly and squarely on your frame. Use the sliding pink markers to designate where your borders, seams and other landmarks are located on your quilt top.
Some people like to attach this to their leveler bar. I like to use adhesive velcro (or just sew some on).
Place a piece of velcro behind the tape and attach it to the legs of your longarm frame on one end. Then, just pull out the tape to the other leg's velcro to suspend the centering tape above the quilt top you are working with.
