The Machine Quilting Serenade Stream Freemotion Class Series is designed to help you build confidence and develop a wide variety of machine quilting skills using a single guided practice panel. Whether you're brand new to free-motion quilting or looking to expand your quilting toolbox, this series provides a structured, low-pressure way to learn and practice new techniques on your domestic sewing machine.
Each class in the series focuses on a specific quilting style or design element. Students can take classes in any order, making it easy to join whenever you're ready. Classes include Simple Fillers, which introduces foundational background fills and texture designs; Following the Path, which focuses on quilting along printed motifs, shapes, and design lines; and Scallops & Clamshells, where students learn to create flowing curved designs and classic quilting motifs. Additional classes and techniques will continue to be added throughout the year.
The Serenade Stream Blossom panel is specially designed to grow with you as your skills develop. As you complete more classes, your panel becomes both a beautiful stitched project and a personal reference guide showcasing the quilting techniques you've learned along the way. By using the same panel throughout the series, you'll be able to clearly see your progress and gain valuable practice without the pressure of quilting on a finished quilt.
Whether your goal is to confidently quilt your own projects, improve your free-motion control, or simply explore new quilting designs, the Machine Quilting Serenade Stream Freemotion Class Series offers an encouraging and enjoyable path to becoming a more skilled machine quilter.
