Do you see the straight line that is a part of the motif? That is a built in Stitch in the Ditch section so this pattern will stitch your ditch while you quilt the border/sashing! If you’d rather not have a straight line for your ditch because it is a bit wobbly, check out this same motif with a curved line instead of a straight line.
This pattern is a part of the Columbus set which was named one night when I was designing something to fill an Ohio Star block and I was missing one of my close friends who lives in Columbus, Ohio. Synergy, eh?
This pattern works especially nice for those of you with a P2P feature or Line Pattern feature on your computerized quilting system.
