Description
If you plan to float the quilts on your longarm’s frame, you’ll want something to create a little bit of tension to stabilize your quilt top. These Start Right Quilt Clips are a fast and easy way to control the layers of your quilt. The clips slide over your fabric and frame rail and will expand to fit various fabric thicknesses. Your quilt top will remain smooth and taut while you quilt!

Works great Purchased the 2” for my Innova . Does the job really well. I like to float my top and it holds it in place with no distortion. The flares on the side make it easy to remove.

Nice but ...... The clips are good quality but there is an issue trying to use them with the leader grip system. It seems that the extra bulk from that system is just enough to keep the clips from holding snugly when in the path of the clips. Otherwise they work great.

Good investment I always float my quilt tops, but have found that sometimes when I get to the bottom the center has “shrunk” and the bottom edge is no longer straight. The clips are easy to use and provide the needed tension. I also use them to attach a practice sandwich off to the side of my quilt. I can easily remove to look at my stitching and see if I have my thread tension properly balanced.

Just right!! I purchased the Start Right 2" Quilt Clips for my APQS Freddie to use when I "float" tops to keep the top straight and provide a little tension. They work great. The first time I used them I was a little intimidated by them but found you just push down on them and they will slide into place. I've also used them to hold a quilt that I took off the frame and then realized I missed a small area that needed to be quilted. Easy Peasey!!
