Description
Heat-Away stabilizer by Sulky is a traceable, stitchable, medium-weight clear film and can be used as a design template or disappearing support, removable with heat. It is a great choice if you do not want residue left on your fabric, water is not an option for removing a stabilizer, or tearing risks damage to the stitching or fabric. It is useful as both a topper or stabilizer, but only on fabrics that can tolerate 260-300 degrees – the cotton setting on most irons.
Heat-Away is not recommended for high-pile fabrics, because if can get trapped in loops and cause sticking. It removes easily with a dry iron – do not use an ironing press, and do not press with steam!
Note: Do not trace designs onto Heat-Away with a permanent ink marker.
