TJ Maxx Signage Gets New Life And Some Quilts, Of Course!

I recently got a big shipment of some pretty amazing rulers. The problem was that I didn’t have any place to display all these new fancy pants rulers. The answer? TJ Maxx! Well, not exactly the store- more like the remnants of a store. One of my local TJ Maxx stores was being liquidated and I […]

Some Good News and Some Bad News

Yesterday I drove up to the Cincinnati area to install an Intelliquilter system on a customer’s new APQS Freedom. They weren’t positioned every 50 […]

I’m a little hesitant to show you the before photo but you really need to see what I started with to understand how excited I am. Here’s what the space looked like when I started. Those shelves were used to store shoes for the Jazzercise folks who came to this space before me. The shelves […]

Store Progress: Moving day!

Today I rented a Uhaul to move over the longarm machines and all the fixtures & tables I was storing in my garage. When I walked in to rent the truck the Uhaul manager said, “You’re the one! My wife has been talking about you non stop for two weeks. She is a quilter and […]

Store Progress: Hanging Quilts from the Rafters

Anyone who knows me well knows that I have a secret desire to operate large industrial equipment. I don’t want to do it as a career but I’d really love to operate an excavator, dump truck and bulldozer- to name a few. My new store has 18′ ceilings in the work studio where all the […]

Store Progress: Fun at Habitat Restore!

I love my Habitat Restore. They had this listed as a kitchen island. But you and I know it is a checkout stand, right? 🙂 These cabinets are solid wood with dovetail drawers. They are in excellent shape and already painted white. It looks like a perfect checkout stand to me! The other cabinets in […]
