Shipping and Returns
When an order comes through all of the Quilt Fairies take a moment to celebrate and then… they get BUSY! We are a small quilt shop and during sale surges and holidays our shipping sprites may take a wee bit longer to ship your order. However, we do our very best to ship orders placed before 11:30am EST Monday-Friday on the SAME DAY!
If your order comes through after 11:30am EST we we do our very best to ship it out on the next business day. We don’t ship on Saturdays and Sundays so the Quilt Fairies can rest (our wings get tired).
You’ll notice on your cart we list any products that may be backordered. We get our restocking shipments from suppliers on a continual basis but during sales surges and holidays, there could be a small wait. Please know our Quilt Fairies do their VERY best because we know how important it is to get you your goodies as soon as possible.
Orders over $100 will qualify for FREE shipping within the USA. YAY! USA orders under $100 enjoy a flat rate shipping price of $8. Please note that since rentals, classes, courses and events do not have shipping charges, these items can not be used to qualify for the free shipping offer.
Quilted Joy is currently only offering international shipping to our Canadian neighbors. Shipping costs for international orders are calculated based on the weight of the products in the order. The customer is responsible for any and all duties and custom fees. While we so wish we could offer it, unfortunately Canadian orders do not qualify for free shipping.
All orders are inspected before shipping. In the case of damaged good or packing error, please contact us within 30 days of purchase so we can correct the situation. Our Quilt Fairies are very protective of your order and package it up with great care as we know the journey can be long.
Life is full of enough unknowns, shopping for your sewing goodies shouldn’t be one of them! We want you to LOVE what you got. Please make any and all returns within 30 days of purchase. All returns need to be in unopened, original packaging and in sale-able condition (smoke/odor free). There are some things that we can’t accept returns on, unfortunately. We do not accept returns on cut fabric yardage, books, patterns, kits, aerosol products, monthly subscription programs, digital products, clearance or sale items. .
Shipping charges are non-refundable. If your order qualified for our free shipping offer and you return an item from that order, the cost for initially shipping the item to you is deducted from the amount credited back to you. Shipping costs for returns are the responsibility of the buyer. We ship only to the US and Canada at this time.
If your package is not delivered within 30 days of shipment for US packages / 180 days for international packages, please contact us immediately so we can open an inquiry to trace your package. However, we are not responsible for lost or damaged packages. If your package has been marked as delivered but you have not received it, please contact USPS or your local mail system – we cannot be responsible for packages once they are marked as delivered. We wish we had influence over the US Post Office, Fed Ex and UPS but we just don’t.
Please note that if a package is returned to us because it was undeliverable to the address provided at checkout, you will need to pay for the new postage for your order because we did everything to the best of our ability to send your package. Canceling items, combining orders, or changing your shipping address, speed, or preference might affect your order’s free shipping eligibility.
