This class will give you the building blocks of custom quilting. Angela will share the basic design elements she uses in countless quilts. She’ll also share her unique tips and tricks to help you remember those designs and their paths when you’re ready to take them to your quilts. We’ll also touch on some basic ruler quilting skills and learn how to safely use rulers with your quilting machine.
This class comes with an extensive handout for you to practice on during class and long afterwards!
No, this class is all design/draw. Angela has learned over the years that before you can quilt a design on your quilt, you need to be able to draw the design. We will spend class learning the design elements on paper so you can use them on your quilts after they feel “friendly” to you.
The skills we learn in class are for all quilters, regardless of what type of machine you use! All of the designs Angela teaches can be used on a stand up longarm machine and a sit down machine.
