Description
Precise cutting is important when piecing a quilt top, but it’s hard to use a rotary cutter precisely if it is sliding all over the place. Here is Traction Tape to help keep those tools in place when you cut. Traction Tape is rubbery tape with a single adhesive side that can be applied to the back of rulers and templates to help them not slide on fabrics while cutting. Applying the tape to your rulers and templates is simple and straight forward following the directions provided. Once in place, the tool and the tape can be washed to renew the stickiness of the rubbery surface by simply running under luke warm water with perhaps a small amount of dishwashing liquid. Use a long piece along the edge of ruler, or cut small pieces to place along curves in your favorite template, this tape will help keep that edge in place to make rotary cutting and tracing easier and less stressful.
