If you’re looking for a quilting ruler with lots of different uses, then the Chevy low shank machine quilting ruler will be your best friend!
Chevy low shank was designed by popular machine quilter Angela Walters of Quilting is my Therapy. She wanted a ruler that would help her create both straight lines and curvy lines for her favorite modern quilting designs. So she teamed up with Creative Grids to create Chevy!
This ruler was named Chevy because it’s so easy to quilt beautiful chevron designs. You just need to quilt from needle stop to needle stop using the straight edge. Then reposition your ruler and keep quilting. It’s that easy! You can also use Chevy’s straight edge to easily echo two sides of a square block and turn corners without rotating the ruler.
There are also so many designs you can create with Chevy’s curvy side! Keep your quilting simple with all over curvy or wavy lines. Or mix things up by offsetting designs or changing directions.
And don’t forget to try creating quilting motifs by using both sides of the ruler! Take a look at the video below to see just a few of the ways you can use the Chevy low shank machine quilting ruler.
Chevy low shank also features:
- The Creative Grids Grip prevents the ruler from slipping while quilting.
- Black and white dashed lines are easy to see on all fabric colors.
- This ruler is just the right size for your hands. It’s easy to hold and keep under control.
- Made with 1/8″ thick acrylic and is perfect for sit down sewing machines.
