This 40 weight thread was designed specifically for high speed quilting machines. So Fine! #40 is lint-free and has a lovely satin sheen. This skinny thread is super forgiving and sinks into your quilt, letting your fabrics shine and providing excellent texture!  You can use it for your top thread when you want your fabric design to be more prominent or it also makes a fantastic bobbin thread.

Recommended Tension and Needle Settings:

• Home Machines: Topstitch #90/14.
• Longarm Machines: #18 or #19 (MR 4.0). Reduce tension as necessary.
