Description
Magna-Glide is a pre-wound bobbin from Fil-tec using Glide, the 40 weight polyester thread you already know and trust, and wraps it around their patented magnetic-core. This creates consistent delivery throughout the entire bobbin. No more interruptions for tension adjustments as your bobbin gets smaller. The magnetic-core prevents backlash or over spin and eliminates the need for backlash springs.
Magna-Glides are produced using the top Glide colors, giving you a perfect match on the bottom and top of every piece you stitch.

For your Magna-Glide prewound bobbin to work accurately, always insert the magnet down into the case.
Remember to remove the anti-backlash check spring from the metal bobbin case prior to use. Failure to do so may lead to tension problems and thread breaks.

Love these bobbins!!! I use Magna bobbins with 99% of my longarm quilting projects - they are consistently wound with about 130 yds on each. The pair beautifully with the Glide thread I use for the tops (I have had no tension issues once I switched to the Magna bobbins!). Linen is my favorite color which seems to blend in beautifully with most light colored backings. The service from Quilted Joy is also quick and orders are accurately filled.

Pennith "Salome" Cox I love Magna-Glide bobbins. There is a ton of thread on each bobbin and they keep a consistent tension. I will always but pre-wound bobbins if they come in my chosen color or close to it. My machine loves Glide thread and I do too. Linen is a great color choice for most of my projects if I am wanting a neutral.

Love 'em! I absolutely love these bobbins, and have been using them exclusively ever since my machine dealer (Nolting) recommended them several years ago.
